Today consisted of Legos, baths, naps, gymnastics, and eating pizza. Crazy times we live in. Crazy times.
Jim attended Jackie's gymnastics lesson with us, which continues to be so cute. Her BFF was sick so couldn't make it- held my breath as we walked in. When it was time for her to enter the gym she said "But I am shy sometimes." I always say "Mommy is shy sometimes too!" I just realized this is a lie. Any shyness she has isn't from me- it's from Jim. Anyway, her shyness was short-lived bc in 2 seconds flat she was stretching and performing acts of amazement with the best of them. As we left one of the teachers (a high school chick) said to her, "You were wonderful today, Miss Jackie!" as she gave her a stamp. In the sweetest and highest voice ever, Jax responded "Thank you!" and we were off.
Anyway, tomorrow is "Donuts w Dads" at Jackie's school. Looks like Jim gets to hang out awkwardly with a bunch of dads tomorrow morning while eating doughnuts. Haha
Alright, it is time to start my nightly Homeland marathon. This is the best show ever.
