Gymnastics and Painting and Friends

Jax woke up from her nap on Wed, super nervous about gymnastics. She said "I'm tiiiiired," which is what she says when she is anxious about going somewhere. We got there and I smartly had P's mama get Jack into her pink leotard bc I knew she wouldn't fight it that way. Heh.

The doors opened and Jax and her BFF, P, just waltzed in. There is a tiny viewing window that about 10 moms are trying to peek into and since I have H, my time was limited. To my shock, Jax was having the time of her life: jumping jacks, somersaults, hanging from the bar, learning cartwheels, balance beam, etc... She was the youngest in the class since she isn't even 3 yet, so she got a lot of TLC from the teachers. After class I said to her "Were you hanging on the bars?" and she said "I was.. And I went CRAZY!"

Anyway, there will be a time at the end this semester where friends and family can come if they want to watch what the kids learned.

My main job during the 50 min lesson was crowd (ahem, Hilly) control.

Thurs my college BFFs and their kids came, ranging from 3 weeks old to 6 years. Jackie loved the babies, obvi. And Ben received his second gift from someone other than me! An adorable baby blanket!!! His godmother, Smod, got him 2 organic cotton onesies months ago that I forgot to post on here, but will.

We also have been finger painting every day, courtesy of the paints Santa brought for H. H has barely any interest in art projects yet and tried to eat the paint and then when I stopped her she got pissed and threw her artwork to the ground. My little angel! Ha
