DCM and Big Gym

Before 'Nastics (or the "Big Gym") today we met up w a bunch of friends, including Jax's BFF, at the DCM. Jax is so gentle with P's little sister, Hannah, which is really important- I know much it matters to me when Jackie's friends- or anyone- treats Hilly well.

We had a brief picnic at the DCM and headed straight to gymnastics w P, where Hilly and Hannah ran/crawled like crazy in waiting room. Jax loooooves gymnastics and she loves P- so this is super fun for her. She told me her favorite activity is jumping on the beach ball (imagine a beach ball cut in half. That.). I asked about the "walking beam" (I called it a balance beam and was corrected) and she said "I tried and tried, but I keep falling." Her teachers say she doesn't say a word- just has a huge smile, big eyes and does exactly what she's told. When they open those doors for class to start, though, she barges right in. She is such a good group-activity person at this point. Good for her!
