Yesterday we traversed the DE state line to attend the annual memorial day picnic. Hilly srsly ran us ragged, as usual. I can't wait for her to be out of the running like hell/climbing phase. Although it did make coming home nice- where everything is gated off and she can't climb 10000 stairs. My dad has 3 steps that lead from the dining room to the den- well, Hilly likes to climb down/ go up stairs like a big girl. She went up/down these stairs one million times. She didn't fall and they were carpeted, but to me, it revealed her insanity. Haha I told Jim she might be our family's first Olympian. Physical feats are nothing to her. Hilly be crazy. At least in new places- at home she is totally chill.
Both girls were asleep by the time we got on the turnpike.
Also, my cousin gave me more of her son and daughter's clothes so this morning the girls went thru the bin, put on as many of the clothes as they could and I let them play in the dog room, which is the least safe room in the house- tools and exercise equipment. #parentingfail
We are going to pick up our hounds in 10 minutes!!! I miss them!
