You guessed it.
After school and swim (a private lesson afterall since her partner in group was sick).
School: Jack told me her and P and M were cozy with blankets laying down when mean boy S did somersaults, landing on them. Truth be told, S's mom told me I looked super cute yesterday (though I was unshowered and wearing a probably inappropriately too-small tank top, hoodie and yoga pants). How mad could I be? In this rotund physical state, a compliment is much appreciated, even when I know I look bad. Haha
I took some vids of Jax at swim that I will post later. Oh, H got a nose bleed at swim which was dramatic. Jack was so worried and said "Momma, I am 'fraid Hilly's nose is going to run away up to the sky!" and "Hilly's nose is bleeding and running!" I love toddler-ese.
Also featured below is Jax's artwork- a turtle and a cross and some sort of game from earlier in the year when Kyle was her obsession.
Then we hit up the park w Jack's new soccer ball- she was sooo excited. I also picked her up a basketball since we don't have one and we needed one in general. H started going down slide alone, and I am so proud of her.
We are heading to Little Gym today and I am contemplating lugging the girls to get a haircut.... Jack needs a trim. And when I say trim, I don't mean a bob. I'm talking 1/2 an inch. I would do it myself but she would never let me.
Tomorrow I am 30 weeks! I've been having some BH contractions (google it), as expected, and moving around is certainly more of a challenge. I hope to paint Ben's room this week. The theme is transportation- think cartoon cute. Walls will be khaki and white, white furniture, navy blue accents. Maybe maybe maybe a touch of red. Not sure. I sometimes feel a little emo about saying bye to jackie's Pooh nursery, but I am also kind of over the Pooh theme and totally ready for something new. :)
