Jax is 3.5 Years Old

Yesterday, Uncle Mickey and Aunt J came to visit but of course I got no pics. Perhaps this is bc Ben is the 3rd child. W Jack, every visitor got their pic taken, 50% w Hilly and maybe 10% w Ben.

Below is a picture of Jack taken yesterday- officially 3.5 years old. I am so proud! She can definitely be quite the three-nager and it gives me but a brief glimpse of what it will be like to live with my Jackie as a teenager and boy is it scary! Haha But, I get how lame and annoying parents can be- it just sucks to be viewed as lame and annoying by someone you're obsessed with!!! Sorry, Jax, but we will always be obsessed with you. :)

Overall, though, at 3.5, Jackie is a caring, fun and truly kind individual. She has a good sense of humor, a huge heart and she is a GD genius, if you ask her parents.

So I saw this fancy art project idea online- paint in a ziplock bag. I found it to be entertaining, as did Uncle Mickey (totally caught him playing with it yesterday), but Jackie and Hilly? Totes not into it. At least they can't grow older and say, "You never put paint in a ziploc bag for us to play with!" The hell I didn't. And here is proof. They were more interested in the tape holding said bags to the floor. :)

Below is Ben wearing his new kicks. They are a size 1 and they are huge.

This morning we ventured out to our first larger sized play date (at P's). Jax's current favorite show is Doc McStuffins (a little girl is a doctor and diagnoses her toys' illnesses) and she found P's Doc McStuffins doll, so she spent the greater portion of the play date in a corner playing with Doc. Can I tell you how wonderful Hilly is at entertaining herself? Both my girls are, actually.

And below is my buddy, Ben. He has started cluster feeding a great deal which is often a sign of a growth spurt, so I am hopeful he will get some meat on his bones soon. He has been waking up more frequently at night for feedings to eat also. I can't believe he is only 2 weeks old.

    1. That's how I feel about Curious George! I just can't get into it. The songs from Doc are really catchy.
