Post 2 Today- Today Was Cold

Proud to announce that we survived my prenatal visit. You have to give a urine sample each time and they hand you a sticky label to put on a cup. After I peed, Jackie said "Where is your sticker??!!!"

But Jax was awesome about being quiet- even telling Hilly to pipe down at times. They made lots of friends, as usual, and loved watching the medical procedures (which is just weight, blood pressure, stomach measurement, and baby's heartbeat). I gave them each pretzel sticks. You would've thought they were watching Toy Story on the big screen.

Also, at least one person every place we go gets a kick out of how they are so similar in size even though H is younger. Jackie is my little peanut!!! H, you are a statuesque dame and I love being tall, so in the event that you stay tall (or, Jackie, that you grow tall), I hope you will too. You like never ever have to hem anything except for $$$$ jeans. I hear being short is nice too.

I think I wrote this before, but I stopped making Jackie nap regularly and instead let her play in playroom. She is exhausted by 7 and has been angelic all day (prob for fear I'll change my mind).

Playroom update: saw some funny things (and some I saw happening in real time):

1. She gave up nap time, but her baby dolls did NOT. As a result, she changed her changing table to bunk beds. Umm... She rules.

2. Caillou had his nap later than everyone else. She told Gma on the phone- everyone was napping but Caillou- but it wasn't til now that I saw Cai-Cai did get his nap. Earlier he had a time out for hitting her baby doll, J.R.

3. For some reason, all her figurines (which ride her school bus or hang in the play house, etc..) are strategically placed- 1 on each window sill. Wtf? I am asking her about this tomorrow...looks too militant to me, and I'm not sure I approve.(Note: I just noticed how dirty our window sills are. See for yourself. I asked Jim if he noticed and he said yeah, but we are always touching them and putting drinks on them and stuff. Gross. Extra Note: just tried to clean sills. Turns out it isn't dirt but needs to be repainted. Project time!)

Another cute saying: everything that happened in the past is "last morning."
Ex: "Jackie, dinner time."
Jackie: "But I just ate last morning!"

Oh and at the birthday party on Saturday I stole dum-dum lollipops for MYSELF. Well, homegirl knows me too well and searched my bag for loot. I looked over and saw her with a lollipop. I asked how it was and she said "it's delicious!" Not super different, but it was the first time I heard her use that word, so...

We got caught up on Dexter last night and are needing a new TV show about now. I also need a rum and coke and to sleep in past 6am, but.... Those 2 things probably won't be happening for at least another 4 years- if that. Luckily I have little toes and chubby bellies and funny conversations to tide me over until then. :)
