I know you are dying to know what we did Thurs, Fri and today, so be prepared to have your curiosity satisfied.
Thurs: I remembered last minute there was a parents cmty meeting. Grrr.. So we all had to get ready. Jax brought her pound puppy that she named "Sharon" (ummm.... Best name ever for a dog? Miss Sharon is the director of her school so everyone at school got a kick out of Jax's doggie's name, including Miss Sharon). Hilly sat and played wonderfully w a 4 year old and another 18 mos old. It was glorious. Then we went home and played mad hide-n-seek.
Fri: Storytime B&N bright and early w our friends. Hillers emptied the book shelves and Jax played at train table. Then we walked to mall for lunch and then gymnastics. I decided to stay out rather than touch base at home before going to gymnastics. Jax had a blast as usual.
Which brings us to this morning where we toured the local PetSmart and grocery store (little carts, ahem). Naps and...... Egg hunt at the church where Jax goes to school. We woke up the girls, grabbed some baskets and headed to the great unknown. All kids started running and Hillers and Jax grabbed their baskets and ran too. Even little Hilly! Hilly got 1 egg and was happy as a clam. Jax found 2- also happy as a clam. Then we went into the church hall for Rita's, pretzels and crafts. There were approximately 3 evil clowns roaming the grounds and 1 evil Easter bunny. Jack wanted nothing to do w the bunny and Hillers didn't care either way. Once they realize the magical, gift-giving nature of that bun, I feel they will change their tune. Especially since their mother is hoping one day to live vicariously thru them and longs for them to receive a real pet bunny on Easter morning. Wouldn't that be awesome? I had a pet bunny that lived to be 9 or so, but I won him- Thumpy- at a fair. He wasn't waiting for me in my Easter basket like he was in my dreams. Although, Mom, remember the dead frog Santa gave me on Xmas morning that one year? So I guess I came close to receiving the fluffy white alive bunny on Easter.
