Shopping

This weekend I spent a bunch of time shopping at and then volunteering at a local elementary school at a children's clothing/stuff sale and it was awesome. I got some adorable stuff for the kids (Ben included) and also a side by side Chicco double stroller in perfect condition for $50! I've been looking for these online and in 2nd hand stores for awhile. I didn't need it bad enough to actually pay full price but I have wanted one sooo bad. I also picked up a huge Buzz Lightyear doll that Jackie will LOVE that she doesn't know about yet. It was $1. I looked hard for a Woody, Jessie or Bullseye doll but to no avail. :(

When I got home Jax was waiting up for me and I told her she would get a surprise if she went right to sleep. She excitedly asked "Is it a t-shirt? Is it a toy??" Next morning at 6am she was asking for it: a Yo Gabba Gabba key-tar (half keyboard, half guitar). She has been calling it her "plano" (piano)." I love love these words.

I picked up some navy Converse for Ben that look awesome on Hilly too. Pictured at the library below.

I let my sweet Hilly run loose (and closely tailed her) in the library today and it was adorable. I want to strap a camera to her chest and videotape her adventures. Jackie picked out a Clifford book to read. I love Clifford.
